AquaRatio
AquaRatio is a focused tool for estimating full-pipe flow using the Manning equation. Enter pipe diameter, roughness, length, and head loss, and you’ll get slope, velocity, and discharge in both SI and US customary units.
- Fast unit conversion (cm/in, m/ft, m/s → ft/s, m³/s → L/s & gpm)
- Presets for typical Manning’s n values
- Copy & Share results for reports
- Keyboard and screen-reader friendly
Note: For design-critical work, verify assumptions (e.g., full flow, steady state) and consult local standards.

FAQ
Q: Which formula is used?
A: The Manning full-pipe form with hydraulic radius \(R=D/4\) and slope \(S=h_f/L\).
Q: Can I input the slope directly?
A: Not yet. For now, enter head loss and length; we’ll add a “Direct S” mode in a future update.
Q: Are there other formulas?
A: Darcy–Weisbach and Hazen–Williams are on the roadmap as selectable methods.
Accessibility
- Keyboard navigation: tab order for all inputs and buttons
- ARIA live regions for validation and results
- High-contrast friendly; both system and manual dark mode
